Meesho Label 4x6 vs A4 vs 3x5: Which Size to Print
A plain guide to Meesho shipping label sizes — 4x6 thermal, A4, and 3x5 — and how to crop each one so it prints cleanly on your printer.
Meesho's shipping label PDF isn't pre-sized for any one printer — it's built to print correctly whether you're using a dedicated thermal label printer or a regular A4 printer at home. That flexibility is useful, but it also means the label you download almost never matches your paper size exactly, and you end up either wasting thermal roll or cutting labels apart with scissors.
4x6 (thermal label printers)
This is the standard size for dedicated thermal label printers — the same size courier partners and most marketplaces use. If you print dozens of Meesho orders a day, a 4x6 thermal printer is almost always the right investment, and your label needs to be cropped down to exactly the label area so nothing gets cut off and no roll is wasted on blank margin.
A4 (regular printers)
If you're printing on a normal inkjet or laser printer, Meesho's label fits an A4 sheet as-is — but there's usually a large blank margin around the actual label, and sometimes a tax invoice printed below it. Cropping still helps here: a tightly cropped label peels and sticks more cleanly, and you can fit more than one label per sheet if you're batching orders.
3x5 and other sizes
Some sellers use 3x5 label stock, which is smaller than the default 4x6 layout Meesho generates. In that case the label needs to be cropped and scaled down together, not just trimmed — otherwise text and barcodes can end up too small to scan reliably at the courier hub.
Cropping to the right size
Whichever size you print on, the underlying problem is the same: Meesho's PDF has more white space than your label stock does. The Meesho Label Crop tool is built to handle exactly this — upload the label PDF and it trims it down to the size you actually print on.
If you also print the tax invoice with your labels, see how to crop Meesho labels with the invoice attached for the invoice-specific version of this.
Beyond the label: knowing if the order was worth shipping
Printing and shipping fast matters, but it's only half the picture — a lot of Meesho sellers ship an order without knowing whether it was actually profitable once commission, shipping and RTO risk are counted in. Profiko reads your Order Report and Payment files and shows the real number per order, per product, and per month.
